Dr. Lee Au is a highly experienced, board-certified General Surgeon practicing in the Greater Los Angeles area. After attending Baylor University, he earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Following graduation, he completed a five year General Surgery Residency at Medical College of Pennsylvania.
After concluding his training, Dr. Au has spent 25 years in private practice in Hawaii. He has helped cover general surgery needs in most of the major hospitals in Hawaii including Queen’s Medical Center and Castle Medical Center. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has developed a strong expertise in laparoscopy and endoscopy.
Over the past 6 years, Dr. Au has been serving numerous patients throughout the Southern California area. Currently he treats patients in the Inland Empire, Beverly Hills, and Apple Valley. In the past he has also held offices in Sand Diego and Modesto. His current professional interests lie in the field of bariatric surgery. At Pacific Med Health Group, he has performed over 500 Lap-Band procedures. In addition, he offers the gastric balloon and gastric sleeve surgery for patients seeking to lose weight.
In recent years, Dr. Au has established himself as a top laser treatment specialist in the Greater Los Angeles Area. He uses advanced laser technology to perform hair removal procedures with safe and effective results.
In addition, Dr. Au has earned a well-deserved reputation as an expert varicose and spider vein specialist. He employs sclerotherapy, a minimally-invasive injectable therapy to address problem veins.
Dr. Au is dedicated to humanitarian work and has worked closely with No More Poverty, a non-profit organization committed to helping those suffering from poverty in the United States and abroad. In an effort to promote a better quality of life for disadvantaged individuals, he has participated in two humanitarian missions in Philippines where he treated patients with tumors and other debilitating conditions.

He partakes in a variety of athletic activities to stay on top of his game because he knows that being a general surgeon requires a great deal of stamina. In his free time, Dr. Au enjoys playing piano and working on his tennis skills.
